Dream 11 IPL 2020 saw a historic doubleheader last Sunday with the epic double super-over clash between MI and KXIP (one of the best games of the season). This Sunday, 25th October sees a clash between rivals Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings, followed by Rajasthan Royals going up against Mumbai Indians. The first match starts at 3:30PM IST in the Dubai International Cricket Stadium and the second match starts at 7:30PM IST in the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium.
First Clash: RCB vs CSK.
The rivalry between these two teams is fiery and is often referred to as Namma Derby. In their previous meeting, RCB ended up winning the match by 37 runs. While CSK will look to exact revenge, RCB will have eyes set on the top spot of the table.
Royal Challengers Bangalore: RCB has been going strong recently and is in the top half of the table. Virat Kohli, in the last game against CSK had scored an amazing 90* off 52 balls and was absolutely stellar. Devdutt Padikkal, the second leading run-scorer has made 321 runs so far and will look to add more to the kitty. Mr 360 aka AB de Villiers is in a wonderful form and might perform well in this game. Yuzvendra Chahal, the bowling superstar has 15 wickets to his name and will look to restrict the CSK batsmen and leave them “spell”bound.
Chennai Super Kings: CSK’s last outing against MI was heart-breaking, to say the least. With 5 wickets gone in the powerplay and 2 batsmen registering ducks, they will look to play well and might change their course. Faf du Plessis, has been consistently performing for the team and might continue doing so. Ambati Rayudu and Sam Curran have been good with the bat and have performed well when they were in the right form. Shardul Thakur had taken 2 wickets in their previous match against RCB and might add few more to his tally.
Second Clash: RR vs MI
The last time RR and MI played against each other, MI had a stupendous and clinical victory by a 57-run margin. MI will look to win the game and consolidate its place in the top position, while RR will look to redeem itself.
Rajasthan Royals: Sanju Samson, who is the leading run-scorer of RR has made 272 runs so far, which makes him a key player of the team. Jos Buttler, who had scored 70 runs off 44 balls in the previous game against MI might look to repeat the same batting action tonight. Steve Smith, who is a live wire in the field, might be in a great form tonight. Jofra Archer, the leading wicket-taker of the team will look to scalp crucial wickets and help the team win. The spin duo Rahul Tewatia and Shreyas Gopal might add weight to the bowling unit.
Mumbai Indians: Having had a good season so far, MI will step in with a lot of confidence. Quinton de Kock, one of the best wicket-keeper batsmen, has scored more than 300 runs so far and might score big runs for the team tonight. Keiron Pollard has been using his skills amazingly and might once again scare the players from the opponent’s camp. Their bowling unit might come off as a lethal weapon with Trent Boult, who had scalped 4 wickets in their last match and the much feared Jasprit Bumrah, who had picked up 2 wickets.
An exciting day awaits…
